|The End of the Prologue, the Beginning of the Beginning.|

My summer at the firm has drawn to a close. My summer as an intern in the SEO program has nearly done the same.

It was perhaps the best and most taxing summer I've ever had. But, don't let anyone tell you wrong: you DO NOT get tired of eating at fancy restaurants on an almost daily basis. And you DO start to balance the service and quality of your neighborhood pizza stop with that of Lever House and Gramercy Tavern.

Law school starts in 3 weeks. Between now and then the following things must be secured: a computer, an apartment and a boyfriend.

I only have fear of the last not being obtained, which is a shame because it is the most vital. Evidently I will really need to focus in this first year of law school. This one year of school has the power to make or break my immediate future, the damage or fruits of which will continue to reverberate well after the immediate. What I learned about myself in undergrad is that I cannot shake these negative feelings of being unwanted and turning to the not-so-instant-but-instantly-evaporated gratification of sex with a stranger as a "solution." Having a man in my life would nullify the retarding effects of my own self-deprecating thoughts because I would not waste time looking for sex or unable to focus in class because this hot guy down the aisle who I have a crush on would sooner pierce his left buttock with a rusty nail than have tea with me.

A boyfriend will be, I assure you, a much more useful study aid than a commercial outline.

I've got three weeks. Here we go.
